The Purpose of this course is to provide Hands-on training to RF engineers to perform UMTS RF network optimization by educate them using real hands on activities as the industry requires to hire the professional RF engineers. This course is developed based on practical aspect of RF engineering by highly experience RF Professionals who have more than 20 years of industry experience. The course will helps to identify the key points of RF optimization which the industries look into the engineers from day one. It describes the process of optimization (how to tackle drop calls, neighbor adds, foot print control, RF parameters, radio network features etc) the network and market requirements to RF system parameters and walks through the different optimization criteria or calculations. The course discusses the RF performance and optimization aspects, the use of existing infrastructure, new features and configurations, parameter optimization, 2C, 3C carrier capacity planning as well as growth considerations. Also the program consists of hands on sessions to apply the key learning points by allowing the participants to utilize RF optimize guidelines, site and market data, and performance tools selected by the local market to perform RF optimization tasks and obtain hands-on experience.
