Introduction to RF Design for UMTS/HSPA (WCDMA) Course

The Purpose of this course is to provide Hands-on training to RF engineers to perform UMTS RF network design by educating them using real hands on activities as the industry requires hiring the professional RF engineers. This course is developed based on practical aspects of RF engineering and was put together by highly experience RF Professionals who have more than 20 years of industry experience. The course will help to identify the key points of RF design which the industry requires into the RF engineers to have from day one. It describes the process of designing the network and market requirements of RF system parameters and walks through the different design calculations. The course discusses the RF planning aspects, the use of existing infrastructure, overlay configurations, backhaul capacity planning as well as growth considerations. Also the program consists of hands on sessions to apply the key learning points by allowing the participants to utilize RF design guidelines, site and market data, and design tools selected by the local market to perform RF design tasks and obtain hands-on experience. HTN wireless will provide this program to use RF design tools, processes and real data for the service operator network.
